Sefton’s leading care provider, New Directions, is now recruiting for 3 experienced Support Worker's in the North Hub, Southport. We currently employ around 350 staff across the business who pride themselves on delivering high quality social care and support to vulnerable groups within the Sefton area.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a part of our dedicated team of Support Workers at our North Hub. The North Hub is a large day service that provides quality care and support for adults who have learning, physical disabilities, autism or associated mental health conditions. The Hub has another satellite site within the locality where service users participate in horticulture activities.
The successful candidate will participate in the day-to-day delivery of a range of services for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism or associated mental health conditions; working with service users in a person-centred way to promote greater choice, skill development, independence and inclusion. The post holder will work in a variety of community-based settings, including day service activities.

What we need from you:
- A caring nature and strong values of compassion and inclusion.
- Experience of working with vulnerable people within a care environment is essential.
- Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 or equivalent is essential.
- Ability to pass the screening process for Enhanced DBS check.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK without any limitations or restrictions.
- You must be over 18 years old.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
