We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Personal Assistant to provide essential support and meaningful companionship to our client in the Redhill. The position is for 14 hrs per week with the possibility of extension in the future.
About the Role
As a Community Personal Assistant, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for an individual who values empathy, patience, and understanding. Your role will be to offer companionship, encourage independence, and provide support with day-to-day tasks, all while fostering a warm and supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
· Offering emotional support and genuine companionship
· Assisting with daily routines and activities
· Encouraging and facilitating community engagement and social outings
· Supporting independence while being attentive to the individual’s needs
· Always ensuring respectful and person-centred care
About You
· Experience working with individuals who have learning disabilities and mental health needs is essential
· Genuine compassion and empathy are vital characteristics for this role
· Excellent communication skills and a patient, positive outlook
· Willingness to offer meaningful companionship and emotional support
· Residing in or near Redhill (RH1) is required
· A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are advantageous, but not essential
