Benefact Group are looking for a Group Procurement Advisor to join our Gloucester office on a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract.
This role supports the management of Group’s suppliers, helping to ensure contracts and supplier relationships deliver value, effective service and positive commercial outcomes, while maintaining a strong focus on third-party risk. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you’ll support supplier performance management and help maintain effective contract governance and supplier risk management practices.

Support the sourcing and selection of suppliers, including tendering, contract development, and due diligence, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements and relevant regulations.
Manage supplier relationships and contract records throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring contracts are accurately maintained and supplier performance is monitored against agreed commitments.
Assess and monitor supplier risks, including contract criticality, financial stability, business continuity arrangements, and compliance with governance requirements.
Procurement Framework compliance gaps, supporting the business with resolution of compliance gaps against regulation for our most critical arrangements.
Support the Procure-to-Pay process, by providing guidance, resolving queries and helping ensure purchasing activities are completed efficiently and in line with company policies.
Understand and have knowledge in the various regulations required for critical / important contracts, including PRA SS2/21 Material Outsourcing and Third-Party Risk Mgt, PRA SS1/21 Operational Resilience, FCA Rulebook, EIOPA DORA, CBI Guidance on Outsourcing and EBA Outsourcing to Cloud.
Effective negotiation skills utilised with suppliers.
Proven ability to identify risks to the group and in-depth knowledge of the due diligence process in order to mitigate these.
Confident in managing stakeholders at all levels and providing appropriate challenge.
Experience of assessing the financial state of organisations by reference to published records such as credit rating and report and accounts along with other sources of information such as site visits, industry trends and market data.
