The Bird In Hand is a traditional country pub and restaurant situated in the heart of the community in the village of Fforest near Pontarddulais. The Bird In Hand is independently owned and in 2019 was extensively renovated.
We are looking for additional chefs to join our busy kitchen team, servicing our 100-seater restaurants in addition to Bar areas.
Expanding our existing kitchen team will ensure a work/life balance to suit all needs.
Job Role
· Enrich the existing kitchen team to exceed customers’ expectations with a memorable eating experience.
· Ensure the kitchen is compliant with all Allergen, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
· Grow the Bird In Hand’s reputation of quality home cooked locally sourced food.
· Competently run all sections of the kitchen
