Job Summary
We are a fairly new established sept 2024 body repair and mechanical repair centre, we have a very understanding and laid back working environment giving tasks are being completed and are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems, equipment and have all great intentions to help our new business grow. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We are also working towards opening a MOT testing station in the coming months and possible opportunity if interested to take the role of the MOT tester.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, ensuring.
- Diagnose problems using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.
- Replace or repair faulty parts and components as necessary.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment relevant to mechanical work.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
- Previous experience
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to mechanical work is preferred.
