What You'll Be Doing
As a Van Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering and collecting parcels across Northampton and the surrounding areas while providing outstanding customer service every step of the way.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Safely driving a company 3.5T van on planned multi-drop delivery routes
- Delivering and collecting parcels from residential and commercial customers
- Scanning packages accurately using handheld devices
- Providing friendly, professional customer service at every stop
- Handling parcels with care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
- Following all road traffic laws, company procedures, and health & safety guidelines
What We're Looking For
We're looking for motivated individuals who are dependable, organised, and enjoy working independently.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Aged 23 years or over
- Minimum 2 years' driving experience
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Professional, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
Desirable
- Previous multi-drop or courier experience (preferred but not essential)
- Good local geographical knowledge
