Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Architect and Business Intelligence Lead to join our dynamic technology team. This pivotal role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust system architectures and business intelligence solutions that support organisational growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee comprehensive system architecture strategies aligned with organisational goals, ensuring scalable and secure solutions.
- Design and architect IT systems and solutions to meet client business objectives across web software and IT platforms.
- Analyse client business processes and requirements to define scope and specification of IT systems.
- Architect and optimise business intelligence platforms using tools like SQL, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Manage DevOps pipelines with tools like Git, Jenkins to streamline SDLC processes including continuous integration and deployment.
- Lead system engineering initiatives focusing on system architecture optimisation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in solution architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of system design across multiple platforms including Linux, Windows Server environments.
- Expertise in cloud services
- Strong background in database management systems including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle; proficiency in SQL is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to lead complex projects from conception through implementation.
- This role requires a proactive professional capable of delivering innovative IT solutions while maintaining high standards of security and efficiency within a fast-paced environment.
Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
