We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our home, inspire our team, and continue developing a service that places children at the heart of everything we do.
Responsibilities
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Provide strong and consistent leadership for the home.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and trauma-informed care.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance of the home.
- Lead the recruitment, supervision, and development of staff.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, families, and partner agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement while ensuring the home meets Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall operational management of the children's home.
- Recruitment, supervision, appraisal, and development of staff.
- Safeguarding leadership and risk management oversight.
- Monitoring and reviewing children's care and support plans.
- Reporting to the Responsible Individual and company leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
- Promoting a positive, child-centred and therapeutic culture throughout the home.
Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years' experience within children's residential care.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a Registered Manager role.
- Thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Quality Standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to care.
- Ability to motivate, support, and develop staff teams.
- Full UK driving licence.

Pay: £49,000.00-£53,000.00 per year
