We are now looking for a passionate and highly organised Training Executive to join our London team and play a key role in developing our people and protecting the standards that make the LPM experience so special.
The Role
As Training Executive, you will take ownership of the day-to-day training and development journey for our team, from onboarding new colleagues through to ongoing learning, development and progression.
Working closely with managers and department leaders, you will ensure our people have the knowledge, confidence and skills to deliver consistently exceptional service.
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people. You will be visible on the floor, engaging with teams, coaching individuals, facilitating training sessions and identifying opportunities to continuously improve how we learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the full training and development programme for LPM London.
- Lead engaging and inspiring onboarding programmes for new starters.
- Deliver and coordinate training across service, food, beverage, hospitality, company culture and operational standards.
- Work closely with department managers to identify individual and team development needs.
- Create, maintain and continuously improve training materials, guides and learning resources.
- Deliver regular refresher training to ensure knowledge and standards remain consistently high.
- Support managers in coaching and developing their teams.
- Monitor training completion, attendance and development progress.
- Identify skills gaps and create practical development plans to address them.
- Support career development and internal progression across the restaurant.
- Help develop future leaders through structured coaching and learning opportunities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback, observation and performance.
- Maintain accurate training records and provide regular updates to management.
- Ensure LPM standards, values and culture are embedded throughout the employee journey.
- Stay informed about best practice in hospitality training and bring fresh ideas to the business.
- Work collaboratively with the wider LPM team to share knowledge and support a strong learning culture.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is passionate about people, hospitality and learning.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a training, learning & development, or people development role within hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant and/or luxury hospitality operations.
- Experience delivering engaging training sessions to diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A confident, approachable and motivating personality.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to build trusted relationships at every level of the business.
- A practical, hands-on approach to learning and development.
- The confidence to coach, challenge and support colleagues when required.
- A genuine interest in helping people grow and progress.
- The ability to work at pace while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.
