Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Dispatcher / Warehouse Operative to ensure stock is received, picked and dispatched accurately and safely. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication abilities and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the smooth running of the warehouse by ensuring stock is received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and safely.
- Count and check all deliveries before signing.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Accurately book in all stock on the system.
- Store goods in the correct locations with care and attention.
- Pick orders using picking notes, ensuring correct parts and quantities the first time.
- Report missing items promptly.
- Pack and label goods correctly for dispatch.
- Prepare goods in designated areas for delivery.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed, signed and up to date.
- Rotate stock using First In First Out (FIFO).
- Keep shelves stocked, organised and easy to pick from.
- Handle all products carefully to avoid damage.
- Ensure all goods in and out have the correct paperwork.
- Assist with returns when required.
- Support the trade counter when needed.
- Demonstrate good attention to detail, organisation and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
