As a SEND Graduate Academic Coach, you’ll be working within a highly resourceful college in Newcastle providing classroom support to students aged 16+ who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
The reward aspect of this role is massive as you’ll be building positive relationships with each student where you’ll see their progress throughout the academic year with your daily support.
Your day-to-day will include ensuring students' needs are met and creating an inclusive and positive environment so everyone can thrive. Not only that your support will ensure students can learn new things and gain valuable life skills that will take them through life.

- £500 - £530 per week (term time only)
- September 2026 - July 2027
- Full-time: No weekends (Monday – Friday)
What We Are Looking For:
- Hold a completed bachelor’s degree
- An empathetic, caring individual with a passion for making learning as accessible and inclusive as possible
- Enthusiastic about learning new things and helping others achieve their goals
- Experience supporting individuals who have SEND (an advantage but not essential)
- Comfortable with providing personal care (this isn’t a core focus of the role and training will be provided)
- Able to build positive relationships with others
