We're seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior eCommerce Merchandiser to join the eCommerce team at Pet Drugs Online. This is a hands-on role focused on driving online sales performance, improving conversion, and delivering an outstanding customer experience through effective onsite merchandising and optimisation.
You will be responsible for executing merchandising activities across the website, ensuring products are accurately presented, easy to find, and effectively promoted. Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Commercial, SEO, and Content teams, you'll use data and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of revenue and conversion targets.

- Own the day-to-day onsite merchandising of the website, ensuring products, categories, and promotions are accurately presented and optimised
- Execute product listing, categorisation, navigation, and search merchandising activities to improve discoverability and conversion
- Monitor site performance and identify opportunities to improve product visibility, customer journeys, and commercial outcomes
- Use web analytics, search data, and customer behaviour insights to optimise merchandising performance
- Maintain product data quality and ensure product information, attributes, imagery, and content are accurate and up to date
- Support the planning and implementation of promotional campaigns, seasonal activity, and trading events
- Conduct regular audits of product listings, categories, and site content to maintain a high-quality customer experience
- Work closely with SEO, PPC, Content, Commercial, and Supplier teams to improve product performance and visibility
- Support the optimisation of onsite search, filtering, and product recommendation functionality
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to secure quality product information and assets
- Produce regular performance reporting and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of merchandising processes and ways of working
- Proven experience in an eCommerce merchandising, online trading, or digital retail role
- Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs including conversion, revenue, average order value, and customer engagement
- Highly analytical, with experience using data and insights to improve online performance
- Confident using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, ContentSquare, heatmapping tools, or similar platforms
- Experience managing product data and working with ecommerce platforms, PIM systems, or CMS tools
- Experience using Adobe Commerce, ERP systems, or PIM platforms such as Pimberly
- Experience within pet retail, healthcare, pharmacy, or other high-volume ecommerce environments
- Exposure to product discovery, personalisation, or conversion optimisation tools
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and their impact on ecommerce performance
