The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join TITAN Containers at a key stage of growth. Initially, the role will focus on self-storage style operations while the depot site is finalised and becomes fully operational. This will be a highly hands-on position, requiring you to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently and safely.
Although the role carries the title of Depot Manager, there will be no direct reports in the initial phase. You will manage the depot independently, with support where needed from the wider UK operations team.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, adaptable and is comfortable balancing operational, administrative and customer-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Overseeing container movements, inspections, repairs, and inventory control.
- Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics with internal teams and external transport providers.
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed and regularly reviewed.
- Monitoring depot performance and reporting on KPIs, costs and productivity.
- Managing depot budgets and cost control measures.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure high service standards.
- Supporting the wider UK operations team with projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Proven experience in depot, warehouse, logistics or self-storage management.
- Comfortable working independently in a standalone, hands-on role.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to multitask across operational and administrative responsibilities.
- Knowledge of container handling, transport or storage operations is desirable.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and operational systems (e.g., inventory or logistics software).
- Full UK driving licence required; forklift licence desirable.
