Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes and other decorative finishes with precision and care
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on site
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and make any necessary touch-ups or corrections
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding project progress or any issues that arise during work
Requirements
- Proven experience in painting or decorating roles.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment safely while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Valid driving license preferred for travel between job sites; reliable transportation is essential
- Excellent communication skills to understand instructions and collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality finishes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating materials

Pay: From £31,000.00 per year
