We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants help improve our local communities in Charnwood.
The Council is recruiting for a S106 Developer Contributions Monitoring Officer.
The Opportunity
The post holder will take the lead in developing procures for, and the monitoring of, s106 legal agreements and their implementation to ensure that developer contributions are secured and paid to partners and stakeholders in timely and accountable way, ensuring that the necessary investments are made in infrastructure and services to support our economic growth and communities at key stages of the development cycle. The role will provide you with experience of working with a variety of teams across the Council and with elected representatives as well as external partners and stakeholders. The post will also support the collection of Community Infrastructure Levy.

We will offer you varied and plentiful experience in a busy planning office, liaising with a variety of stakeholders to effectively achieve Charnwood’s aims of supporting sustainable growth.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, motivated and organised person with experience of working in a planning or legal environment and with a working knowledge of s106 legal agreements. You should ideally have experience of monitoring policies and their implementation. You may already be working in a planning office or are a graduate with relevant work experience looking to take the next step in your career. You will need to be a team player with a positive approach, willing to contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service.
