Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative/Window Fabricator to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to the assembly and fabrication of premium windows. You will play a vital part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision, supporting our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organise materials for window fabrication within the warehouse setting
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble window components accurately and efficiently
- Operate machinery and equipment safely to cut, shape, and assemble window frames and sashes
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and productivity
- Assist with inventory management by tracking parts and materials used during fabrication
- Follow detailed instructions and quality standards throughout the assembly process
- Support warehouse operations by loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of basic assembly processes is advantage but not essential
- Basic knowledge of using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with window or similar product assembly is advantageous
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise fabrication and quality control
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to stand, lift, and handle materials throughout shifts
