Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Tutor to inspire and support students in their educational journey. Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored tutoring sessions to students in primary school, focusing on core subjects such as literacy, numeracy and science
- Assess each student’s individual needs and develop customized lesson plans to address their unique learning styles and challenges
- Support students with special educational needs by adapting teaching methods and materials accordingly
- Monitor progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that motivates students to participate actively and build confidence in their abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to ensure consistent support for each student’s development
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress reports, and any required documentation
Requirements
- QTS in Primary
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children, preferably within primary education settings
- Strong understanding of child development and special education practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with young learners, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed academically
- Relevant qualifications in education or related fields are preferred but not mandatory
- Prior experience working with children with special educational needs is a plus
