Duties
- Assist lead caregivers in implementing daily routines, including playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by monitoring their activities and environment
- Support children’s social-emotional development through positive communication and encouragement
- Help organize engaging activities that promote creativity, motor skills, and cognitive growth
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area to uphold health standards
- Observe and document children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones for reporting purposes
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child’s day-to-day experiences and needs
Requirements
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move actively throughout the day to meet children’s needs
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and team members
- Basic knowledge of child safety protocols and first aid procedures (training provided if needed)
- Reliable, responsible, and attentive with excellent organizational skills
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is a plus but not required
- Must be able to pass background checks as part of our commitment to safety
