We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Support Worker to join a well-established team supporting a gentleman with an acquired brain injury who lives in the Pershore area
Our client is a wheelchair user and requires support work all aspects of his daily living. He enjoys an active and varied lifestyle, getting out and about in the local community and making the most of his interests. He particularly enjoys visiting motor shows, festivals and local attractions, as well as heading into town for a coffee.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting others to live an active and fulfilling life, while providing high-quality, person-centred care.
The successful candidate will work alongside our clients established support team, under the guidance of a Team Leader and Case Manager. You will be required to follow the client’s care plans and prescribed therapy programmes, working closely with his wider team of therapists to support his ongoing needs and goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker or in a care role
- Ability to follow care plans and therapy programmes
- Good communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to providing person centred support
Working Hours:
36 hours per week
Rates of Pay:
Monday-Friday: £ 15. 80 per hour
Saturday-Sunday: £18.00 per hour
Sleep-in night: £139. 81
Oncall night: £ 75
Bank holidays: double rate
