Responsibilities
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials, ensuring safe handling at all times
- Supporting the preparation and clearing of work areas to maintain organisation and safety standards
- Carrying out general labouring duties such as digging, lifting, and moving materials as directed
- Assisting tradespeople and other team members with their tasks when required
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work site, including waste disposal and equipment storage
- Following health and safety protocols diligently to minimise risks on site
- Reporting any hazards or unsafe practices to supervisors promptly
Skills
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labour over extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to safety procedures
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to manual work environments
- Nice-to-have: previous experience in construction or industrial settings
