Responsibilities
- Organize and deliver a variety of sports activities tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring all children are actively engaged and motivated.
- Support the planning and execution of after-school programs that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and social skills.
- Foster a safe environment by supervising children during activities, ensuring proper use of equipment, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to boost children's confidence and enjoyment in sports.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to communicate progress, address concerns, and tailor activities to meet individual needs.
- Assist in setting up equipment, maintaining activity areas, and ensuring all materials are ready for each session.
- Promote inclusive participation by encouraging teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship among all children.
Experience
- Prior experience in sports coaching or working with children in educational or extracurricular settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engaging sports activities that cater to diverse age groups.
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly, motivate students, and adapt instructions as needed.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices related to sports coaching and child supervision.
- Enthusiasm for fostering a positive environment that promotes physical activity, learning, and fun.
