Occupational Health Technician (OHT) required 2 days per month on a zero-hours contract in the West Yorkshire area.
You will be supported by a clinically qualified manager and a friendly head office support team.

The role will be subject to satisfactory references, enhanced DBS and right to work checks.
About you, you will:
- Be an experienced and/or qualified OHT with ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience, however individuals with less experience may be considered;
- Have own car and full driving licence;
- Have own laptop and mobile phone;
- Have own health surveillance kit with evidence of ongoing calibration;
- Have experience of carrying out the following and be able to provide up-to-date certification as appropriate: Spiro, Audio, skin assessments, vision screening, blood pressure screening, heart rate, height and weight measurements, MSK assessments, HAVS T1 and T2 questionnaires.
- Have excellent IT skills and be a great communicator. You will be quality driven and have excellent record keeping skills.
About the health surveillance clinics:
- Some of the clinics will be planned well in advance, some may be more ad-hoc or to provide cover as required;
- You must ideally be able to work at least 2 days per month, further days may become available within the West Yorkshire area over time;
- You will be required to be on a customer site for a total of 7.5 hours per day (or 4 hours half day);
- COPE will provide relevant training on COPE’s systems, policies and procedures.
