MitchellWheeler Ltd is an established building company specialising in residential extensions, renovations, refurbishments and property maintenance.
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team, working across a variety of residential building projects throughout Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position working alongside our builders and subcontractors on extensions, renovations and general building projects.
Typical duties will include:
- Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day site work
- Loading, unloading and moving building materials
- Mixing mortar and concrete
- Basic demolition and strip-out work
- Keeping sites clean, organised and safe
- Preparing work areas and materials
- General labouring and groundworks assistance
- Collecting materials and making occasional supplier runs
- Helping with different stages of residential building projects as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Able to work well as part of a small team
- Willing to learn and get involved with different aspects of construction
- Respectful when working in and around customers' homes
- Able to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and professionalism we expect on our projects
Previous construction or labouring experience would be beneficial, although attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.
A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Pay: Competitive and dependent on experience.
