Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of nursery rooms, play areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly to meet health and safety standards
- Empty trash bins, replenish supplies, and maintain stock levels of cleaning materials
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and promptly address any cleanliness issues
- Follow established cleaning schedules and safety protocols to ensure consistent hygiene practices
- Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to management immediately
- Support the overall organization of the nursery by keeping storage areas tidy and equipment properly stored
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and familiarity with cleaning chemicals is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks effectively
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to maintaining hygiene standards
This role is to work alongside our current housekeeper Monday to Friday 3-8pm.

Pay: £16,679.00-£17,550.00 per year
