Position: Motor Vehicle Technician
Vehicle Technicians, Mechanics and Electricians
Salary: £31500 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Responsibilities
* Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
* Carry out repairs, maintenance, and servicing work.
* Replace defective vehicle components as required.
* Conduct road tests to ensure repairs have been completed successfully.
* Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes and filter replacements.
* Fit and service vehicle accessories such as alarms, immobilisers, and stereos.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair requirements and costs.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Relevant qualifications or equivalent industry 2 years experience preferred.
* Valid driving licence preferred.
