We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Male Support Worker to assist a 29-year-old gentleman living independently in Leicester. He is a big Leicester football fan and has a season ticket.
This young man is mobile and enjoys getting out and about but needs motivation. He presents with some disinhibited behaviours so requires consistent, supportive supervision and a calm, understanding approach.
Key Information:
Location: Leicester
Hours: Monday – Friday ( flexible) occasional weekends when football matches on.
Shift Length: 6 hours per day- 24 hours a week
Pay Rate: £17–£18 per hour
Role Responsibilities:
Supporting safe access to the community
Acting as a “buddy”/PA during outings and activities
Encouraging independence while ensuring safety
Supporting with social engagement and routine
Candidate Requirements:
Male applicants only (due to specific support needs)
Calm, patient, and non-authoritative approach
Ability to manage and respond appropriately to disinhibited behaviours
Confident working with individuals who may not respond well to direction
Good sense of humour and ability to build rapport
Additional Notes:
The individual is a keen Leicester city football team supporter , so a shared interest in football is a bonus
