Job Summary

Duties
- Deliver high-quality personal care to residents, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Supervise and support junior care staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure consistent, compassionate care delivery.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, resident progress, and any incidents using IT systems efficiently.
- Foster open communication with residents, families, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
- Support residents with mobility needs by driving adapted vehicles when necessary or assisting with transportation arrangements.
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and ensuring compliance with care standards.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a care home or senior care setting with a strong understanding of elderly residents’ needs.
- Supervising or leadership experience within a healthcare or social care environment.
- Knowledge of creating and managing individual care plans aligned with best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to use IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes confidently.
- Valid driving license and experience with driving adapted vehicles preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is valued.
