We are a family owned domestic cleaning business based in St Albans and the surrounding areas (AL1, AL3 and AL4). We have an amazing team of 40 self-employed cleaners, cleaning around 200 houses, and are now looking for some new hardworking and reliable cleaners to join us.
Why Join Us?
We offer you jobs on a house by house basis. We don’t dictate which houses you clean or how many hours you work.
As a self-employed cleaner, you are completely free to pick which jobs suit you. So, if you can only work during school hours, that’s fine. Or maybe you only want to work a couple of mornings a week? We are completely flexible and aim to give you as little or as much work as you want.
By cleaning the same houses at the same time each week or fortnightly, you soon get to build up great relationships with your clients.
You decide when you want to take your holidays and how long you want to be away for. Many of our cleaners like to earn some extra money by doing additional holiday cover when their colleagues are away. If this appeals to you, please let us know.
You’ll also get a great rate of pay; a minimum of £15.00/hour and this is paid directly to you by your clients, each time you clean for them.
All cleaning products and equipment are supplied by your clients, so this won’t be a cost to you.

Previous domestic cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. What is more important is that you love to clean, are hardworking, reliable and willing to learn. We do ask that you supply us with two independent references.
You will need your own transport or be prepared to use public transport, which isn’t a problem in this area.
And don’t worry about being self-employed. It’s a simple process which we are happy to help you with.
