Birling House is a Residential Care Home supporting individuals with Physical and Neurological conditions with a focus on Huntington’s Disease.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our invaluable night care team to lead the existing staff in providing person-centred care and support to the Residents that call Birling House their home.
We are looking for a candidate that is kind, caring and compassionate and is able to manage a team to deliver a high standard of individual care to each of our residents, whilst maintaining their dignity, as well as delivering their clinical and health requirements on an individual basis.
The role includes:
- Supervising care staff to ensure a high standard of individual care is delivered to each resident and organising the workload of each member of the team.
- Overseeing and liaising with residents, health professionals and families if appropriate regarding all aspects of the daily care of residents.
- Administering prescribed medication to residents and assisting in the management of an effective system.
- Delivering the clinical and health requirements of residents as part of the Care Team
- A Driving Licence is preferred and candidates are required to have a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or relevant experience in a similar role to be considered for the position.

Candidates will work 12 shifts per 4 week rota period.
Max of two weekends per rota period at weekends.
Shift times 8.30pm to 7.30am
