An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed individual to join The Salvation Debt Advice Team. You will be able to work in Dunbar, in this rewarding role, you will provide a service that is both caring and professional as you support our clients to become debt free.
Key Responsibilities:
Supported by the Salvation Army Debt Advice Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the coordinator in managing the service at Dunbar St. Anne’s Episcopal Church. As well as a case load of clients supporting them in finding a debt solution and helping them to maximise their income and minimise their expenditure. You will be working alongside the coordinator and volunteers, and work in partnership with referral agencies. Ensuring all advice given meets regulatory requirements.

The ability and desire to continue and undertake new training as a debt adviser and good communication skills are essential in this position, in addition to administration, IT and advisory experience. You will also understand and be willing to work within the missions of the Salvation Army.
