Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, confident team member to join our front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate is a natural people person who enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering excellent customer service.
Previous experience of working in a pub or bar environment is essential and with a good understanding of day-to-day service and customer expectations. This role suits someone who can think on their feet and maintain high standards. Involving bar serving customers drinks at the bar, providing food service on the floor and checking in guests in the rooms above the pub.
Duties
- Operating the till, handling cash and card payments accurately
- Using basic maths skills for transactions, giving change, and balancing the till
- Providing friendly, attentive customer service at all times
- Taking and serving drinks/food efficiently
- Maintaining clear communication with customers and team members
- Keeping the bar and customer areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels where needed
- Following health and safety and hygiene standards
- Working effectively during busy periods while maintaining service quality
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality
