We are looking for a responsible person to join our receptionist team. The successful candidate needs to be fully flexible and able to work evenings and weekends. This is a fast paced environment and the candidate needs to be able to work on there own and with in a team.
Essential qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Good standard of written and spoken English
Essential experience
- Previous experience in a customer - facing role (e.g. hospitality, retail, leisure, or customer service)
- Experience handling cash and card payments accurately
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working in a hotel reception or front office environment
- Experience using hotel property management systems (PMS)
- Experience handling guest complaints or resolving issues professionally
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Good it skills, including email and basic Microsoft office
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Understanding of data protection and guest confidentiality
