Role: Health and Safety Coordinator
Location: Sittingbourne
Hours Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm
Salary: £27,070 per annum
An excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in Health & Safety. Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager and operational teams, you will help maintain a safe working environment, support compliance activities, monitor safety performance, and contribute to a positive safety culture across the site.
The role:
· Conduct site safety inspections and audits
· Monitor incidents and corrective actions through EcoOnline
· Support accident investigations and risk assessments
· Assist with Health & Safety inductions and communications
· Manage PPE records and compliance documentation
· Provide administrative support to Health & Safety, Training and Facilities teams
About you:
· A genuine interest in Health & Safety
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· Good IT and administrative skills
· Attention to detail and a proactive approach
· Previous H&S, logistics, warehouse or administrative experience is desirable
· IOSH, NEBOSH or other H&S qualifications are advantageous but not essential
Pay: Up to £27,070.00 per year
