We're Home Secure — a specialist security hardware supplier based in Aintree, selling everything from uPVC door furniture to high-security cylinders and window locks. We've got a busy trade counter, a growing online business, and customers who range from one-man-band locksmiths to large-scale contractors. We're looking for someone to be the face of that counter.
What the job actually looks like
You'll be serving trade customers face to face, helping them find the right product, processing orders, keeping the counter tidy and stocked, and generally being the kind of person who makes people want to come back. Some days are steady. Some are full-on. You'll need to enjoy both.
No two customers are quite the same — you'll deal with seasoned tradespeople who know exactly what they want, and newer ones who need pointing in the right direction. Being switched on and personable matters more than knowing every product on day one.
Who we're looking for
You might be someone who's spent years on the tools — fitting doors, doing locksmith work, or working in construction — and you're ready for something that still keeps you close to the trade without the physical grind. That knowledge is genuinely valuable here.
Or you might be someone earlier in your career with bags of personality, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn fast. We'll teach you the products.
What we're not flexible on: being reliable, being honest with customers, and actually giving a damn.
