Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner (or who are willing to step up to Nursery Deputy Manager to join our new opening setting at Westhoughton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children and available to join the team from August, 2026.
Join our team as a Room Leader/Practitioner/Deputy Manager
Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
· Lead a team in a specific room/age group.
· Plan and implement activities for children
· Support children's development and wellbeing at all time
· Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring that individual needs are met and supported.
· Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
· Communicate with parents and colleagues
Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong knowledge of EYFS principles and practices.
· Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care (or equivalent)
· 2+ years' nursery experience (preferred)
· 2+ years' childcare experience (preferred)
· Experience working with children
· Leadership skills and experience
· Paediatric First Aid certified
· DBS
What we offer:
· Competitive salary: £27,000 - £35,000 per annum
· Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week

· Monday to Friday, 7am - 6pm
