Vertu Mercedes-Benz Fleet - Hybrid working/Slough
Salary: £30k basic £45,000 OTE plus company car
This role is based between our Slough dealership and home, with part of the week spent on-site in Slough and the remainder working remotely.
We are seeking a proven, dynamic and results-driven Fleet Business Development Manager to join our team in Vertu Mercedes-Benz Fleet Team. You will be responsible for developing and managing key accounts within the fleet sector, ensuring the delivery of tailored vehicle solutions to meet the needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Seek, manage and grow a portfolio of fleet customers, providing tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities within the fleet sector and convert them into long-term partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with both new and existing clients to understand their vehicle needs and provide customised solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Work closely with the support team to ensure seamless delivery of vehicles and services to customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and detailed quotes to customers.
- Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
- Proven B2B sales experience within the passenger car sector, or a successful sales background gained within a franchised dealership
- Strong understanding of fleet sales and products.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- A valid driving licence.
