We’re looking for an energetic, inspiring Head Coach to lead and grow the Oxfordshire Junior County Programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a county pathway, work with talented young players, and be part of an exciting joint programme between National Badminton and OxfordshireBadminton Association.
You’ll deliver year‑round county sessions, support player progression into competition, andhelp drive participation and performance across Oxfordshire. There is also strong scope to expand the role through individual coaching, while retaining 100% of your individual lesson income.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and deliver the Oxfordshire Junior County coaching programme
- Inspire and develop junior players across the county pathway
- Identify and nurture emerging talent
- Encourage and support players into competitions and Badminton England events
- Raise standards, participation, and engagement across county and community programmes
- Help promote Oxfordshire as a great place to play and develop in badminton
- Offer individual coaching to county and community players (paid directly to you)
What We’re Looking For
- UKCC Level 2 qualified / BWF Level 2 qualified (or Level 1 with willingness to complete UKCC Level 2)
- Passionate about junior development and performance pathways
- Confident leader with excellent communication and organisation skills
