Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant team. As a key part of our establishment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a memorable dining experience. Your role will encompass various responsibilities all while upholding our high standards of hospitality and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and kitchen counters.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using basic maths skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns promptly.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic culinary knowledge is advantageous, particularly in food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members alike.
- A proactive attitude towards helping others and enhancing the overall guest experience.
