Want to build the tools and integrations that keep a fast-moving ecommerce business connected?
Join Monster Group as a Python Integration Developer, where you'll use Python, SQL and APIs to automate processes, connect systems and solve real business problems across our ecommerce operation.
From synchronising thousands of products across marketplaces to developing internal tools and exploring how AI can automate everyday processes, you'll have the opportunity to build solutions that make a genuine difference to how we work.
This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys problem-solving, automation and seeing the real-world impact of what they build.
Who We Are
Monster Group is a fast-growing ecommerce retailer delivering a wide range of high-quality, value-driven products to customers worldwide. We're powered by our core values: Fun+, Respect, Empowerment and Forward-Thinking, which shape how we work, collaborate and serve our customers.
Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement, we're always looking for smarter ways to work. Technology and automation play a huge part in helping us scale, improve efficiency and deliver great experiences for our customers.
Your Role
You'll help develop and maintain the integrations, automations and internal tools that connect our ecommerce platforms and business systems.
Working with systems including OrderWise, Shopify and third-party marketplaces, you'll turn business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing Python scripts, APIs, integrations and internal tools to automate business processes.
- Building and maintaining integrations between OrderWise, Shopify and third-party platforms and marketplaces.
- Automating product uploads and updates across multiple ecommerce channels.
- Synchronising product, stock, pricing, order and fulfilment information between systems.
- Writing, maintaining and optimising Microsoft SQL Server queries and data processes.
- Working with REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods and webhooks to connect systems reliably.
- Monitoring integrations, investigating failures and resolving data or synchronisation issues.
- Troubleshooting technical problems and identifying their root cause.
- Working with teams across the business to understand their processes and identify opportunities for automation.
- Translating business requirements into effective and scalable technical solutions.
- Using Git and source control to manage and maintain development work.
- Documenting systems, integrations, processes and technical solutions.
- Exploring new technologies, including AI and automation tools, to identify smarter and more efficient ways of working.
- Continually improving existing integrations and processes as the business and our ecommerce channels grow.
Skills We're Looking For
- Strong Python development experience.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience building or working with REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of JSON, authentication methods and webhooks.
- Experience using Git and source control.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to understand a business problem and translate it into a practical technical solution.
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of technical projects.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on building reliable, maintainable solutions.
Nice to Have
You don't need to tick every box, but we'd love to hear from you if you also have experience with:
- Using AI to automate workflows, processes or internal business tasks.
- Building or working with AI agents and agentic workflows.
- AI-assisted development tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
- Shopify development, including front-end development or customisation.
- Ecommerce marketplaces such as Amazon or eBay.
- ERP or order management systems.
- OrderWise or similar business management software.
- Ecommerce product, stock, pricing, order or fulfilment integrations.
Why Join Monster Group?
This isn't a role where you'll spend your time simply maintaining the same systems.
You'll have the opportunity to identify problems, suggest better ways of doing things and then actually build the solution.
As our ecommerce operation continues to grow, automation and integration will become increasingly important. You'll have real scope to influence how our systems connect, reduce manual processes and introduce new technology across the business.
Whether you're developing an API integration, automating a repetitive process, improving the way product data moves between platforms or experimenting with how AI could make us more efficient, you'll be encouraged to think creatively and continuously improve how we work.
