We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out assembly, repairs, and modifications as required.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to ensure precise repairs and installations.
- Carry out equipment repair and maintenance tasks to uphold workshop safety standards.
- Assist with vehicle inspections, testing, and quality assurance procedures before returning vehicles to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing client concerns professionally.
- Engage in heavy lifting when handling parts or equipment safely within the workshop environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in automotive repair is preferred; relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds are advantageous.
- Willingness to train in additional areas such as Hybrid & EV via our onsite Training academy .
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to problem solve effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other workshop machinery.
- Experience in assembly, maintenance, and equipment repair tasks within an automotive setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues accurately.
- Good customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in a physically demanding environment.

Pay: £24,420.00-£46,000.00 per year
