Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background of at least 5 years in restaurant and kitchen operations, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a chef, you will lead the kitchen staff in food preparation and production, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of excellence while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
- Supervise where appropriate and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Lead in the preparation of meals, ensuring consistency in presentation and flavour.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a chef in a restaurant with at least 5 years experience.
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
