Property Legal Assistant / Paralegal - Burgess Hill, West Sussex | Full-time | Law Firm
In this role, you’ll support experienced property fee earners with their caseloads, getting involved in transactions from start to finish while continuing to build your own legal and property knowledge.

The Role
We’re working with a law firm in Burgess Hill looking for a Property Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join its team.
This could be a great next step if you already have some property experience and want a role where you can become more involved in matters and continue developing your career.
Depending on your existing experience, you could be involved with:
- Supporting fee earners across live property transactions
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents and other third parties
- Assisting with searches and Land Registry matters
- Opening files and completing initial client documentation
- Keeping clients updated throughout their matters
- Maintaining accurate files and case management systems
- Helping transactions progress through to completion
We’d be particularly interested in candidates with previous experience as a Property Legal Assistant, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Secretary or Paralegal.
You don’t need to know everything from day one. If you have some relevant property experience, strong attention to detail and want to build your knowledge within a supportive law firm, we’d still encourage you to apply.
