Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Aluminium and UPVC Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing aluminium and UPVC components for various construction and renovation projects. Duties
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling aluminium and UPVC profiles using specialised tools and machinery
- Performing grinding, welding, and finishing tasks to ensure precise and smooth surfaces
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to meet project requirements
- Operating hand tools and tooling equipment safely and efficiently
- Conducting basic measurements and calculations using mathematical skills to ensure accurate fabrication
- Assisting with sheet metal work, including bending and forming components
- Ensuring all fabricated parts meet quality standards before delivery or installation
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, particularly with aluminium and UPVC materials
- Proficiency in grinding, welding, and the use of hand tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to sheet metal work and assembly processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication processes
- Knowledge of tooling maintenance and safety procedures
- Prior experience working with sheet metal is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
