Comp: Negotiable (Base) + Company Performance Bonus (10%) + Share Options + UK iProov Benefits
As our Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be the engine of the team's reporting layer, the person who makes trustworthy data accessible to the whole business. You will turn well-designed analyses into dashboards people rely on every day, own the accuracy and upkeep of our reporting, and be the responsive first point of contact for the questions stakeholders need answered quickly.
You'll work closely with the Senior Data Analyst on the analytical side and the Analytics Engineer on the modelling side, taking increasing ownership of dashboard design and development over time.
-
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting: Develop dashboards in Looker - bringing to life the insight-driven designs shaped with the Senior Data Analyst - and own their ongoing accuracy, maintenance, and iteration.
-
Own recurring reporting: Run and improve the team's regular reporting cadence, making sure numbers are consistent, timely, and clearly presented.
-
Be the responsive front door: Handle standard ad-hoc analytical requests, giving stakeholders quick, reliable answers and routing deeper questions appropriately.
-
Keep the business self-serving: Own the consumer-facing data dictionary and documentation so stakeholders can find and trust the metrics they need.
-
Work within the semantic layer: Build on the LookML models and semantic layer owned by the Analytics Engineer, following and helping refine reporting conventions and standards.
-
Safeguard data quality: Spot inconsistencies in reporting and flag issues upstream so they get fixed at the source.
- 3+ years of experience in a data or BI analyst role, with a track record of delivering reporting and dashboards that the business relies on.
-
Strong SQL for querying and shaping data, and confidence working independently across a data warehouse.
-
Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in Looker (or a comparable BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI), with a good eye for clear data visualisation.
-
Strong attention to detail and a genuine care for data accuracy.
-
