Leda Group is pleased to be partnering with a highly respected regional main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering quality projects across Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley.
Thanks to a strong order book and a growing pipeline of secured work, they're looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a long-term basis.
This isn't just about filling a Site Manager vacancy—it's about finding someone who wants to be part of a business where quality, teamwork and career development genuinely matter.
If you're currently in a role that's become repetitive, where progression feels limited, or you're simply ready to work for a contractor that values its people as much as its projects, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
The Opportunity
You'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of your own project, working alongside an experienced Project Manager and supported by a collaborative commercial and technical team.
Projects are typically across the commercial, education, healthcare and mixed-use sectors, with a strong focus on repeat business and long-term client relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing site operations from mobilisation through to completion.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Driving programme delivery while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Leading Health & Safety on site, including RAMS reviews and compliance.
- Managing site logistics and resolving day-to-day construction challenges.
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
- Creating a positive, well-organised and professional site environment.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Site Manager who enjoys leading from the front and takes pride in delivering projects the right way.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience working for a main contractor.
- A background delivering commercial, education, healthcare or mixed-use projects.
- Strong programme management and subcontractor coordination skills.
- A proactive approach to Health & Safety, quality and client satisfaction.
- The confidence to make decisions and drive projects forward.
Essential Qualifications
- SMSTS
- CSCS (Black or Gold preferred)
- First Aid at Work
Why Join?
This is a business that has built its reputation on quality, repeat business and investing in its people.
In return you'll benefit from:
- A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
- A secure pipeline of local projects, reducing long commutes and overnight stays.
- A supportive leadership team that trusts its Site Managers.
- Genuine opportunities to progress as the business continues to grow.
- A collaborative culture where people stay because they're valued—not because they have to.
