We are recruiting 2 Transport team members to help us manage coach movements during the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann which takes place between 2nd and 9th August 2026. This role will be based in the City Centre, working with coach drivers in the designated loading and unloading locations as well as welcoming cruise ships passengers and visitors to Belfast. You may have to give directions to key landmarks to help those arriving find their way around.
This will be a rewarding role which is crucial the success of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann as we are responsible to welcoming thousands of people and ensure they start their visit in a positive and joyful way!
When people are departing, you will also assist with queue management to ensure the correct visitors are waiting for the correct coach.
This is very much a role that will suit people who are enthusiastic in helping others and creating memorable experiences, no matter the weather!
The role commences on the 1st August and concludes in the 9th August, working typically 12 hours each day. You will also received paid training throughout June at weekends or events and a full briefing on the role & duties.

Required skills:
- Problem solving
- Following procedures (provided to you in training)
- Excellent customer service skills, including when dealing with challenging situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent IT skills including using apps and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work outside & all conditions
Ideal additional skills / experience:
- Welcoming guests & delivering enjoyable experiences
- Using radios
- Any customer service training (i.e. World Host etc)
- Any event experience
- Any Traffic Management experience
- Any experience of managing buses or coaches
Pay: £14.99 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Belfast, County Antrim: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
