We're looking for a passionate Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our welcoming nursery team. What you'll be doing
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll help create an environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn every day.
You'll:
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child's individual interests, abilities and stage of development.
- Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover and build confidence.
- Observe, assess and celebrate children's progress, using the EYFS framework to plan meaningful next steps in learning.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and carers, working together to support every child's development.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing, communication, literacy, numeracy and social development through responsive, child-centred practice.
- Maintain accurate observations, assessments and learning records that celebrate children's achievements and inform future planning.
- Make the most of the nursery's close links with the wider school, supporting children to participate in activities that enrich their learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the highest standards of care, education and professionalism.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and children's wellbeing remain central to everything you do.
We're looking for someone who has:
- A DfE-approved Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS, child development and safeguarding.
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children to reach their full potential.
