We're looking for someone who's actually worked in the creative industry, not just taught it. If you've built campaigns, created content that landed, or worked inside a marketing or brand function, we want to turn that real-world experience into training that apprentices can genuinely use.
WHO WE ARE
Apprentify Group is a portfolio of six companies, each with its own culture, personality and people. Across the group we support around 10,000 learners a year through apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps, Adult Skills Fund provision, Free Courses for Jobs and commercial short courses.
We're growing and fast-moving. If you like things neat and predictable, this probably isn't the place. If you'd rather bring your real industry experience into the room and watch people grow because of it, keep reading.
QUICK FACTS
Remote-first, with occasional travel where required
Full-time, permanent
Reports to Performance Manager / Head of Delivery
Programmes: Multi-channel Marketing (level 3), Content Creator (level 3)
LIFE IN THE ROLE
Your industry background is what makes the training land. You'll bring current creative and marketing practice into the room and help learners see how the work actually gets done.
Deliver group training across marketing, content creation, digital communications and related disciplines
Facilitate virtual classrooms, workshops and seminars, adapting to learners at very different starting points
Feed emerging trends, tools and techniques into programme content so the curriculum stays current
Work with Development Coaches, employers and curriculum teams to help apprentices apply learning in-role and progress towards Gateway and EPA
Monitor engagement, give clear feedback and flag learners needing extra support early
Deliver in line with funding and apprenticeship requirements, keep accurate records, and take part in observations and standardisation activity
THE HONEST HARD BIT
You'll be standing in front of learners at very different stages, some confident and experienced, some brand new to the industry, and you'll need to flex your delivery constantly to keep both engaged. Bringing real industry war stories is what makes this role different, but it also means staying current: the creative and marketing world moves fast, and you'll need to keep your own practice fresh enough to teach it credibly.
WHAT YOU BRING
At least 3 years' hands-on experience in a creative or digital discipline such as marketing, content creation, digital communications, social media, branding, creative design or digital campaign management
Experience delivering training, coaching, workshops or presentations
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confidence using digital learning platforms and technology
Ability to motivate and engage learners from diverse backgrounds
Nice to have, not dealbreakers:
Experience delivering apprenticeship programmes
A teaching or training qualification (AET, PTLLS, Cert Ed or equivalent)
An assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
Knowledge of standards such as Multi-Channel Marketer, Content Creator or Marketing Executive
Experience supporting learners through EPA
IS THIS FOR YOU?
You've genuinely worked in creative, marketing or digital roles, not just trained people in them
You love turning real industry experience into practical learning
You can read a room and adapt on the fly, whether that's a nervous beginner or a confident veteran
You're collaborative and want to help shape the curriculum, not just deliver it
You're comfortable with feedback, observation and standardisation as part of getting better
This is not for you if:
✘ You've never actually worked in the creative or marketing industry yourself
✘ You want a fixed script and no room to bring your own experience in
✘ You're looking for a slow, predictable environment
✘ You'd rather work solo than collaborate with coaches, employers and curriculum teams
