Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly after use
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Manage waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and correctly
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet or window cleaning
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial work is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact with team members effectively
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Customer service skills are desirable to ensure positive interactions with clients and visitors
- Valid driving licence is mandatory and own transport required; flexibility to travel between sites will be required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
