About the role:
This role is in the Adult Safeguarding Support Service, and involves taking responsibility for the organisation of multi-agency meetings; by liaising with internal and external customers, taking accurate minutes of the meetings and ensuring distribution in a timely manner.
The content of meetings can sometimes be distressing but you will be part of a supportive, experienced team and training will be provided. Due to the nature of the role you must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and demonstrate knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equalities, and Health & Safety requirements of working in an office environment.
Hybrid working will be considered but you will be expected to attend the office a minimum of one day per week. You may be asked to travel to other locations across the county to support meetings when face-to-face meetings are required.
About you
We require a motivated administrator who possesses excellent communication and customer care skills. The successful applicant will be a well organised, flexible individual in possession of excellent ICT skills (MS Office experience preferred) along with a good standard of literacy and numeracy. You must be able to prioritise your workload to meet tight deadlines and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as working effectively within a team. You must have a strong commitment to confidentiality of personal information and an eye for detail. You will be confident handling sensitive information and able to manage challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
